5 ethical brands you need to know

May 29, 2018

1. The FAIR Shop.

This is one of my favourite Brighton-based brands. You really don’t get a better service anywhere else. From clothing brands such as People Tree and Bibico, stationary by Paper High and Silence, and handmade jewellery the shop has something for everyone. They often host events too which in my experience make for a lovely, informative evening, filled with positive energy. For more information click here.

2. Lucy and Yak.

Although this brand is not yet 100% sustainable, they are 100% transparent. They offer so much information about how they source materials and the work they do to support the factory they use in North India. Everything is handmade and they’ve just released an organic range which I’m very excited about! Check them out here.

3. Charlie Fiest

This backsack company use recycled PET and vegan leather to make their bags! They aren’t a trend/ one-off but instead are stylish and durable, destined to last. To see the ‘Sakai’ which is my favourite click here.

4. Plastic freedom

Plastic Freedom is a company that does just that. It provides plastic-free products and at a decent price! On this site you can find everything from make-up, candles, water

bottles, and toilet roll! To see for yourself, click here.

5. Wild Fawn Jewellery

I absolutely love this jewellery brand. I first came across it on Instagram about 2 months ago now and since, have found myself stalking the feed, constantly adding to my wish-list each time I do! They sponsored an event I recently attended called Repurpose your wardrobe in London, and I fell even more in love with it. Made from recycled silver and gold and all hand-made there really isn’t anything not to love! My favourite thing are the double circle earrings! To see what I’m talking about click here.

If there are any ethical brand that you love please let me know. I’m always on the look out for smaller brands to buy into/talk about!
